Proposals have been brought to Town Hall Meetings where non-binding referenda have been passed so the issue can be brought before the voters in November.

Three hundred cities and towns around the country will have ballot questions on this issue. It is being called the Democracy Amendment. The process for amending the Constitution must start with the towns. By voting at the local level we send a message to our state legislators who in turn bring this to Washington. It must be a bottom up swell from the citizens.
